Fast Fashion is the second-biggest consumer of water and is responsible for about 10% of global carbon emissions – more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. It is my belief that fashion is meant to be accessible to all, kind to the planet, and a creative expression of the wearer and the creator. In this project, we seek to connect local boutiques in Texas, skilled tailors in India, and ubiquitous tailoring waste from local tailoring businesses to create one of a kind products: purses, cluthches, dolls. doll-clothing, blouses, tops, pants, back-packs, etc.
